Lady Gaga (a thought)

A Critic for Christianity Symbols
A friend of mine asking me to do translation for "Judas" sing by Lady Gaga. At first, i was thinking that its just another "crazy" (or is it brilliant) work of Lady Gaga, that presented a certain generation criticism to (post) modernity to have the freedom to express themselves freely, and also the living of wild creativity with vivid colour using and "creative fashion style" media usage. Who is Lady Gaga? Perhaps most of the people knows who is she, and her background, but for those who doesn't know Lady Gaga, i will try to brief her details in here.
According to her official website; Lady Gaga's real name is Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta born in New York on March 28th, 1986 from an Italian American family and therefore she was raised in Roman Catholic tradition (or at least familiar with the tradition). She studied at New York University at the faculty of Tisch School of the Arts. Her career in music is not instant, she also admitted that she was once consuming drugs to help her perform in "barely a clothes" costume, that made her father did not want to look at her. She said that she went to a Catholic school but it was on the New York underground that she found herself. She released her debut album in 2008 with her famous single "Just Dance, "Poker Face, "Bad Romance" and earned 6 Grammy Nominees, after several years of struggle. (source from wikipedia.com)
This is just an amateur writing of a woman who is interested to her song "Judas". Many might consider her song is evil and also might condemn her as the devil's own, or perhaps the satan seed. Some just plainly ignored and just think of her as crazy, while others probably consider her as very representative to their view of religion, symbols of religion, rebellious, extreme creativity, pop culture and trulan artist, and a trace of feminism inside her music video of "Judas."
My expectancy, at first, was a bit historical modernized scene, but i have never expected that she would interpret Jesus and his apostles as motor bike gang, especially with big bike, skulls embroidered leather jacket and rugged hard look with 2 days stubble and dirty look. What took my interest more is that she is in the video, if i may freely interpret, she represent the enigmatic presence of Maria, the woman who wash Jesus' feet in the Gospel of John, Lady Gaga herself is a kind of enigmatic i think, because her life perhaps some would think very worldly, yet she still think of theological challenge in her mind.
Lady Gaga's song lyric and music video called "Judas" is filled with Christianity symbols, her interpretation of the Gospel of John, her rebellious action toward Roman Catholic tradition she was raised in, and her critics to religion institution about freedom and feminism. For some this might be consider as offensive and perhaps even an abomination to the Holy Icon. Yet, the writer tends to see it as a constructive critics to Christianity.
